Pom tiddly om pom, pom pom

Currently my obsession is…..

One is fixated!!!

It can’t be healthy.

Every time I look around there are more. The ones above are from Orangekisses at Etsy.

Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better..

Golly, spotty too. These are from PomLove at Etsy.

At Chez Lee, one doesn’t need an excuse to decorate. One is rather fanciful that way. However, as Mothering Sunday will soon be upon us and then we have Easter.. oh and as it’s Spring( you get the idea) why not put a little ” pom” into your pom tiddly om pom.?

They look awfully simple to make but the effect is fabulous!

{Martha Stewart’s Tissue Poms}

Tissue paper and 24-gauge white cloth-covered floral wire

1. Stack eight 20-by-30-inch sheets of tissue. Make 1 1/2-inch wide accordion folds, creasing with each fold.

2. Fold an 18-inch piece of floral wire in half, and slip over center of folded tissue; twist. With scissors, trim ends of tissue into rounded or pointy shapes.

3. Separate layers, pulling away from center one at a time.

4. Tie a length of monofilament (or fishing line) to floral wire for hanging.

A simple soft green, for Spring.

Of course you know Mrs.Lee…. it must be pink ( over done) and trés, trés glam!!

The flower version are equally beautiful, I have admired them from afar and as soon as one finds a suitable stand will definitely be giving them a whirl.
